We will discuss military spending with the Euro-parliamentarians Cristina Guarda (IT, Greens) and Marc Botenga (BE, The Left). The exchange will focus in particular on direct and diverted funds for rearmament in the coming 2026 EU budget, as well as in the next long-term EU budgetary framework (2028–2034) — how these developments could be stopped or at least mitigated, and the role that civil society, in particular the StopReArm Europe campaign, could play in defending peace policies and democracy in Europe.
