On Saturday, July 12, the International Peace Bureau (IPB), together with Stop the War Coalition Philippines, Gensuikyo (Japan), and World BEYOND War, is organizing the 4th edition of the Peace Wave – a 24-hour Zoom broadcast showcasing live peace actions taking place across the globe.
This year, the Peace Wave encourages a focus on the abolition of nuclear weapons, though all peace-related actions are welcome.
🕓 The Europe segment will take place from 16:00 to 18:00 CEST.
We want to feature voices and actions from across the continent that are part of the Stop ReArm Europe campaign – and that’s where you come in!
👉 How can you participate?
- Organize or join live local actions on July 12 to be featured during the broadcast.
- Contributions can take many forms: music, artistic performances, educational actions, symbolic gestures, or actions in the streets – anything that carries a message of peace, solidarity, and nonviolence.
- Gather your community on July 12 to watch the Peace Wave together – and see what others around the world are doing. We’ll be connected by one global wave of peace and we’ll have Q&A sessions!
-
Share video footage (horizontal) of your events from the StopReArmEurope Week of Action from June 21 to June 29 – or any other recent action you have organized!
