Join us on Saturday, June 21 at 2:00 PM in Rome for the National Demonstration Against War, Rearmament, Genocide, and Authoritarianism, promoted by more than 300 national and local networks, social organizations, trade unions, and political groups that have signed the appeal of the European campaign #StopRearmEurope (https://stoprearm.org/). The campaign now includes around 1,000 endorsing groups across 18 countries, with Italian organizers including Arci, Ferma il Riarmo (Sbilanciamoci, Rete Italiana Pace e Disarmo, Fondazione Perugia Assisi, Greenpeace Italia), Attac, and Transform Italia.

The national demonstration on June 21 is part of the European Week of Mobilization from June 21 to 29, organized in response to the NATO Summit in The Hague, which will finalize details of the EU’s massive rearmament plan. The protest will bring together a broad alliance of movements united against war and for peace, social and climate justice, rights, and democracy—both in Italy and across Europe.

This demonstration is part of a broader mobilization path, which also includes two key moments:

  • the national demonstration against the Security Law Decree on May 31 in Rome, promoted by A pieno regime, and

  • the referendum vote on June 8–9 calling for five “yes” votes on labor and citizenship rights.
